About Our Bar

One of Lansing’s oldest, continuously operating eating and drinking establishments. If these walls, could talk, they would tell a long and fascinating story fed with local history and colorful characters.

The building itself was built as a residential home at the turn of the 20th century but was converted into a pharmacy. After the repeal of Prohibition, it became a bar and fruit market. While the fruit market is long gone, the location has served as a popular Lansing gathering place for more than a half century.

In 1991, Leroy and Jeane Ann purchased the bar and made numerous updates and improvements including a major expansion in 2006.
